Chrissy Scivicque has devoted her career to helping others achieve success in theirs.
Chrissy Scivicque (pronounced “Civic”) is an award-winning writer, certified career coach and experienced corporate trainer. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Sonoma State University and is a Certified Professional Career Manager (PCM). She has completed 120+ hours of CTI core curriculum for life coaches.
Prior to launching her own business, Chrissy worked in the field of wealth management in Northern California.
Immediately after graduating from college, Chrissy participated in the exclusive PACE Management Training program at Washington Mutual Bank, the largest financial institution in the country at the time. After successful completion of the year-long program, Chrissy worked as an Assistant Manager for 4 years.
In 2006, Chrissy built her first online business and sold it 2 years later. She launched her popular website, EatYourCareer.com, in 2009. The philosophy behind the brand is this: Chrissy believes work can be a nourishing part of the life experience. Her goal is to help professionals understand what that means for them and how to achieve it.
Chrissy is the author of The Proactive Professional: How to Stop Playing Catch Up & Start Getting Ahead at Work (and in Life). Her writing on career-related topics is also regularly featured on dozens of websites including Forbes, Monster, CareerBuilder, CBS News and Ivy Exec, among others. She is currently a contributing writer for U.S. News & World Report (career section).
